I quite liked Things - i’ve been using the demo for 14 days. The real pity is that their technical support is non-existant. I’ve been trying to get a single query answered for 10 days now and they just don’t respond. At all. It means that in my GTD review for my company I’ve had to recommend against using Things, and I’d say the same to other users considering it. Perhaps their support department need a better GTD programme!

Andy, I haven't tried this before you suggested the idea, but you can email to dos from Things. If you drag the item onto the Mail.app dock icon, it will open a new draft email message with the title of the to do item and your notes from the notes section in the email in parenthesis. So, if you had a to do titled "Draft Discovery Requests for the Smith Case" and notes that said "Make sure to ask for A, B and C", and you dragged that item to Mail.app (or into an open draft email), you would get "Draft Discovery Requests for the Smith Case (Make sure to ask for A, B and C)" in the body of your email.

belinda243, thanks for the input! Having your to dos synced to the cloud is a great advantage. I hope Things gets there soon.

Just started using Things yesterday. Just used the hot key to empty my inbox. Great tip. Don't want to impose Things on others in the office just yet. Our office is moving to Clio Practice Management beginning on Monday. Anyway, curious if Is there a way to email to do item to another? When I am collecting to do items, if I decide to assign it to another, would like to email.

Enjoying the site.

I've been looking at all the different task managers on the iPhone as well and finally came across one called Todo from Appigo. I had tried out Things, but having to be tied down to my desktop to synchronize just wasn't an option, especially to have to buy another desktop application to get that to even work! With Todo, I've been synchronizing my tasks anywhere I am with Remember The Milk. It's been perfect.
