Ok, this one is only marginally topical, but, since Victor Medina called out the Flock browser as his pick of the week in the 4th MILO Chat podcast released yesterday, I’m going for it anyway. Just yesterday, I commented to Victor that I like Flock, but I was a little displeased with the UI, and that I wished someone would create some different themes for it. Well, this was not exactly what I had in mind, but, technically, I guess my wish was granted…

This is Flock’s Gloss edition – which is apparently just a pink theme with some automatic RSS subscriptions to various fashion, shopping and celebrity gossip blogs. This is Flock version 1.2.4 … I’d try out the 2.0 beta, though if I were you. It’s built on FF3, and is a good bit faster than 1.2. But, if you want the pinkness, you know, if that’s your thing, you should stick with the 1.2. I just realized, however, that you can apparently, unofficially, and with mixed results, run Firefox themes in Flock 2.0. Have fun! Of course, this is what happens if you try to run a Firefox theme in Flock 1.2…
